Wat it do????? Rhyme n Reason 11.....Indeed....This week i chose a fairly new song by The Dream...it cant be but a couple months old "Rocking That Thang." Check it out "Rocking That Thang" by The Dream.

She Rocking that thang like....I Choose this song for 2 reasons tho...First, I really like this song...The Dream is an excellent songwriter he has written some of your favorite songs like "Umbrella" by Rihanna, 'Bed" by J.Holiday, Mariah Carey's "Touch my Body." So the dude is nice with the pen....He kinda remind me of Prince as far as how he sounds vocally....This song sounds smooth...The beat blends perfectly with the melody....Not to mention it makes the ladies rock they thang on the dance floor which brings me to the next reason why i chose this song...It taught me a valuable lesson...Well a lesson i already know but was reminded of...A lil story for yall....While in the club over the weekend chillin doing my two step....Guess wat song came on...yes u guess it "Rocking That Thang." Now there was this girl right in front me rocking her thang and i must say she was rocking it quite well....Rocking it so well it enticed me to pull up on her bumper....We rocked the song away...After the song we stepped back and started talking...I do admit the girl was cute and bootiful if u kno wat i mean...Pretty face, slim in the waste and blessed from the behind but when she opened her mouth my god.....She talked my head off for the next four songs....Wat made it worse was wat she was talking about made no sense...Physically she looked good but her conversation made her so ugly....I told her imma gonna get her a drink and dissappeared in thin air...The point is fellas dont caught up in a girl cause of he way she rocking her thang....But overall this song gets 2 thumbs up...The video is flashy and goes along with the song.....She rocking that thang like....

Waddup......Its Rhyme n Reason 10.....This week im goin with a musical legend....Another one of my favorite favorite artist...I love this lady....Billie Holiday....She so fine....But im going with her song "God Bless The Child." Like to hear it, here it goes....Billie Holiday "God Bless The Child."

Beautiful, beautiful, so beautiful....Somebody find me a time machine....This song was written in 1939 and recorded and release in 1941 and the lyrics are still relevant dammm....You know why? cause the truth will always be relevant ya dig..This song actually won a grammy back then....I mean the music is so soothing and her voice is just wooo weeee...But above all the that the lyrics...These lyrics are serious....She says Mama may have, papa may have, but GOD bless the child that got his own....Now you may have a different view but wat I get from that is GOD will always bless those who try. Those who go for theirs....Those who get their own... They always say You do your best and God will do the rest right!!!!!!! She goes on to say Yes, the strong gets more while the weak ones fade..We all already know only the strong survives...This is a very strong song far as my ears is telling me....GOD bless the child that got his own with that being said GO GET URS!....Mama may have, Papa may have but GOD bless the child who got his own, He jus worrying bout nothing cause he got his own......Indeed!

Much Luv n Blessings People.....Rhyme n Reason 7 brings us to another one of my favorite artist Sade...Sade as alot of great songs and probally be back on rhyme n reason again but the song i chose to go with is "By your side." Check it out

Whoa! This song is magnificent....I mean lets be serious this song is great...I know u can feel me when i say you wish the partner your with tell you these words. Matter a fact, if the partner im with dont feel like this i dont want to be with her fa real.....All we want in a relationship is for some one to be by our side.....This song gives me hope...It lets me know people could still feel that away about some one.....This song to me represents loyalty....It represents love....What about the flip side feeling like you want to be by some one side no matter what....If you got some one by your side you better hold on to them cause its hard to come by......But overall this song is top notch....Sade voice just captivates you....The beat is tremendous....I could listen to the beat with the lyrics and still feel it adding the lyrics just makes it that much better....I really dig this song and the video matches the vibe....I like the colors and the theme of the video......This is hotness....

Whats da deal....Much Thanks for all those who checked out Rhyme n Reason 1 & 2.....This week i went with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I must let it be known this is one of m favorite groups. They have alot of great songs i like but the song that really tocuh a nerve when i heard "Under The Bridge." Before i go any further take a listen. Red Hot Chili Peppers "Under The Bridge"

Nice Song dont u agree? First let me say the music is on point. The intro is captures u off top. The guitar is inducing and Anthony Keidis voice blends perfectly with instruments. That being said what do u think this song is about??? Dont kno okay okay i will give u my opinion. I have been told this song is about drugs and the way it makes u feel. I think in particular heroine. If u listen closely to the lyrics u will hear "take me to the place i love where i drew some blood." That should be enough proof right there. But i am gonna be honest when i first heard this song i didnt figure that out. So i have two different feelings n outlook on this song. I mean the first impression i got from this song is that it was written from lonely feeling we all get sometimes. Which it probally was. I automaticaly identified with the song. It actually struck a nerve. Cause I have actually felt at times all alone with no one to talk to or no one to give an helping hand. And trust me that is a lonely place and for the writer to tap into the realm musically, that is talent people. Its hard enough to dig deep within yourself and talk about that loneliness let alone write a song about it. But hey music is therapy especially when it shows you your not the only one feelin certain feelings. Now, when i heard it was about taking drugs ironically it still made sense to me. Some times when lonely n down some people turn to drugs. Now let me say i do not think its the right think to do but lets just be real for a sec. If u ever took any kinda drug you know that high you get for the first time you could end up chasing it for the rest of your life. But overall this song was written and put together brillantly. Once again it shows great artist write great songs from the most inspiring thing which is life.

Wats good people.....Welcome to Bottles Belafonte's blog world. Im trying to keep up with the world n divin into the digital realm. Basically wat im tryin to do with this blog is get information and see the difference on how people view things. U could kinda say i am sorta infatuated with how the mind works. I am really a big fan of thoughts n thinkin patterns. But anyways, this blog is called Rhyme n Reason. Everyday Sunday i will post a blog with a video or song of music of some of my favorite artist(Probally some of ur favorite too). I will basically post videos or songs every Sunday from any artist really. It could be from any generation n any genre of music. Yes hip hop, r&b, reggae, country etc. From there i will post my thoughts on the song and what i get from song. Then i want u yes U to post ur comments if u agree or disagree. Feel free to post ur thoughts about the song n wat u get from the song also....With dat being said, Lets get it poppin! (P.S. please dont mind my grammar. I barely passed english class.)

Now the first song i chose is by The Beatles called "Let It Be". Now this song i must say is a very very good song indeed. This might sound crazy but this the first Beatles song i ever heard. I kno, I kno how is dat possible. I jus didnt grow up knowing about the Beatles. I remember having an agruement with a good friend of mine n she couldnt believe that was the first Beatles song i ever heard. She was like how could u be a musician and not know any Beatles songs. Hey, wat can I say i was raised on Bob Marley...Now when i heard the song n heard the lyrics I was like whoa! Blew me away. He says "And when the night is cloudy, there is still a light, a light that shines on me, shine until tomorrow, let it be....Man oh man serious...Very inspirational..Personally wat i get from this song is even tho times be hard no need to be stress bout it jus let it be....Life will continue on. Let it be, let it be, let it be....Its not a long song but the message is sent loud and clear. And the piano jus makes it so pleasant to the ears. I will give this song 3 thumbs up....A really strong insipiratonal song.
