Waddup......Its Rhyme n Reason 10.....This week im goin with a musical legend....Another one of my favorite favorite artist...I love this lady....Billie Holiday....She so fine....But im going with her song "God Bless The Child." Like to hear it, here it goes....Billie Holiday "God Bless The Child."

Beautiful, beautiful, so beautiful....Somebody find me a time machine....This song was written in 1939 and recorded and release in 1941 and the lyrics are still relevant dammm....You know why? cause the truth will always be relevant ya dig..This song actually won a grammy back then....I mean the music is so soothing and her voice is just wooo weeee...But above all the that the lyrics...These lyrics are serious....She says Mama may have, papa may have, but GOD bless the child that got his own....Now you may have a different view but wat I get from that is GOD will always bless those who try. Those who go for theirs....Those who get their own... They always say You do your best and God will do the rest right!!!!!!! She goes on to say Yes, the strong gets more while the weak ones fade..We all already know only the strong survives...This is a very strong song far as my ears is telling me....GOD bless the child that got his own with that being said GO GET URS!....Mama may have, Papa may have but GOD bless the child who got his own, He jus worrying bout nothing cause he got his own......Indeed!

Wat the Bizness is? Wats good people....Its Rhyme n Reason 9.....While I was getting my club on this past weekend this song came on and and made me think...Hmmm Wat is the good life? This week Im going with Mr. West, Kanye that is... with his song " The Good Life" Feat T-Pain. Check it out....

First off let me say this is a very good song and the video is tight too....Black and white video with color coming in and out....But seriously what is the Good Life? Im sure everybody probally got there own interpertation of what the good life is...To some one who works never having to work again is probally the good life.....To some one who is broke being rich is probally the good life...I would really like to know what people considers the good life...Talk to me.....But what I like about this song is the confidence he shows in it when he is like "I goes for mine, I gots to shine" and in the chorus " Imma get on this t.v. momma imma imma put it down." The beat is hot and lyrics is on point....This is a feel good song....I likes it....But at the end of the day whatever you consider to be the good life do what it takes to live it.. Ya dig......There is one part in the song that i consider to define the good life for me when he says "Lets go on a living spree, they say the best things in life are free." Hey no matter if you work for living or not, If your rich or living check to check when your living with love, hapiness, confidence of self, etc...Your living the good life.....

Hello there, Hope you had a good vaeltines day and a wonderful weekend indeed.....Rhyme n Reason 8 is here.....This week im goin with the great legendary reggae singer Bob Marley " No Woman No Cry" need i say more. Bob Marley " No Woman No Cry" Check it out....

Okay....Bob Marley the great....I mean theres alot of great musicians who put out great music but Bob Marley as to be in the top 3 great musicians of all time no?...This song "No Woman No Cry" if im not mistaking was released in 1979 and still hot today. My son is 6 yrs old and he knows who Bob Marley is....But this song " No Woman No Cry" is a great piece of work. The lyrics in this song is basically saying life is life no need to worry you know....Its saying no need to cry....No need to stress just know everything gonna be alright right?.......Bob Marleys lyrics mixed with is soulful voice n the instruments makes this song Grade A. So ladies if your going thru hard times right now listen to this song a couple times will ya.........

Much Luv n Blessings People.....Rhyme n Reason 7 brings us to another one of my favorite artist Sade...Sade as alot of great songs and probally be back on rhyme n reason again but the song i chose to go with is "By your side." Check it out

Whoa! This song is magnificent....I mean lets be serious this song is great...I know u can feel me when i say you wish the partner your with tell you these words. Matter a fact, if the partner im with dont feel like this i dont want to be with her fa real.....All we want in a relationship is for some one to be by our side.....This song gives me hope...It lets me know people could still feel that away about some one.....This song to me represents loyalty....It represents love....What about the flip side feeling like you want to be by some one side no matter what....If you got some one by your side you better hold on to them cause its hard to come by......But overall this song is top notch....Sade voice just captivates you....The beat is tremendous....I could listen to the beat with the lyrics and still feel it adding the lyrics just makes it that much better....I really dig this song and the video matches the vibe....I like the colors and the theme of the video......This is hotness....

Whats good....I hope we all had a wonderful n blessed weekend...This is Rhyme n Reason 6...This week I went with Alanis Morissette's "Ironic." This song is one of my favorite from her album Jagged Little Pill. Check it out "Ironic."

First of all the video is ironic. She's driving herself around. When i first heard this song i was like this a pretty depression song. I mean listen to the lyrics. "Its like rain on your wedding day, Its a free ride when you already late, Its a good advice you didnt take." Its like everything going wrong. But in all reality, it be like that sometimes so i could relate. You know those times when your looking for say your camera to capture a moment but couldnt find it. Then a week later when you dont need it you find it...Isnt it ironic....You know how some times you might wake up late for work and your rushing and as you get on the highway there is a traffic jam.....Isnt it Ironic......I guess what she is trying to get across she says in the song " Life as a funny way of sneaking up on you, Life as a funny way of helping you out." What do you think?
Overall tho I really dig this song. The lyrics are clever. The video in a funny way fits the song. I think its a very creative song....
